easy & simple messaging with friends
Just a very simple idea, how to interact with friends much easier?
IM is good, however it require to add contact list and it always disturb people, sometime I don't want to seriously add someone to talk, and don't want to talk too seriously. I wish the message could be able to send even the peer is offline as well.
Twitter is good and casual, however it's centralized, not everyone is a twitter user.

I am think about everyone could have a simple HTTP API from their own blog (maybe delegate to another server to provide service) , so if I "talk" i actually post some data to the peer's message queue, I can do that without having to leave my web site.

How to deal with spam? this will be a important issue. Maybe user can set a whitelist/black list, and also use some spam filter to avoid spam.
this could be a sample application for OPSN.
